Design Department

The design department enhances the audience’s experience with IRIS by incorporating an artistic direction into presenting the articles, taking an interdisciplinary approach in the field of STEM.

Yoonjoo Choi

Design Director

YoonJoo Choi is a Design Director, staff writer and IT assistant of the International Review in STEM (IRIS). Born in South Korea, he is currently using online schools for education. Joo’s primary interests are coding, watching Netflix and playing with his sister. Most of the time, he either studies or solves coding problems on websites such as Leetcode or Codingninjas.

Stella Lee

Staff Designer

Stella Lee is a staff designer in the Design Department of the International Review in STEM (IRIS). She was born in Michigan, had lived in India and South Korea, and is now in Virginia. Her primary interests are neuropsychology and art. She enjoys going to art galleries.

Jullien David

Staff Designer

Jullien David is a copy editor and staff designer at IRIS. She was born in the United Kingdom and has since moved to the state of Texas where she currently attends school. Her hobbies include reading, writing, and listening to music in her free time. She enjoys learning about STEM-related topics and hopes to gain a degree in neurology or psychology in college.

Yewon Choi

Staff Designer

Yewon Choi, preferably called Sally, is a staff designer of the International Review in STEM (IRIS). Born in South Korea, she currently attends school in South Korea. Her interests are playing sports, learning science, and hanging out with animals. Additionally, she loves to play with Joo, her brother (who is also a part of IRIS).
