Copy Department
The copy department collaborates to draft and edit articles with a focus to shed light on neglected issues and the mundane aspects of the STEM field. Within the team, members have the freedom and voice to select specific topics that interest them and conduct collective research.
Leah Song
Editor in Chief
Leah Song is the President and Co-Editor-in-Chief of the International Review in STEM (IRIS). Born in South Korea, she currently attends school in Florida. Her primary interests are biology, psychology, neuroscience and writing. Outside of the publication, she enjoys watching movies and listening to music.
Hana Chen
Editor in Chief
Hana Chen is the Co-IT Director and Co-Editor-in-Chief of the International Review in STEM (IRIS). Born in Singapore, she currently attends school in Shanghai, China. Hana’s primary interests include biotechnology, genetics, and programming. Outside of the publication, she enjoys listening to music, baking, and reading.
Kamdi Oguchi
Copy Editor
Kamdi Oguchi is a copy editor of IRIS. Born to Nigerian immigrants, she lives in Bowie, Maryland with two younger sisters. At IRIS, you might see Kamdi write about healthcare, neuroscience, or technology. Her hobbies include reading, dancing and cooking Nigerian dishes.
Jullien David
Copy Editor
Jullien David is a copy editor and staff designer at IRIS. She was born in the United Kingdom and has since moved to the state of Texas where she currently attends school. Her hobbies include reading, writing, and listening to music in her free time. She enjoys learning about STEM-related topics and hopes to gain a degree in neurology or psychology in college.
Kyuhyeon Kim
Staff Writer
Kyuhyeon Kim is a staff writer at IRIS. Born in South Korea, he is currently studying in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. He is an avid student of astronomy, astrophysics and cosmology, and likes to share his knowledge about the universe with others, which is why he writes space- and astronomy- related articles for IRIS. Outside the publication, he loves to listen to music and can play the cello and drum kit. He also loves to read, play badminton, go road cycling, and hang out with friends in his free time.

Adilet Akash
Staff Writer
Adilet Akash is a staff writer of the International Review in STEM (IRIS). Outside of IRIS he loves playing football, doing sports, playing chess, reading and studying physics. Born in Kazakhstan, while was a student he participated in a bunch of olympiads, and that’s why he loves physics and competitions. He also enjoys teaching and mentoring physics to younger students in Kazakhstan in a funny way.

YoonJoo Choi is a staff writer, staff designer and IT assistant of the International Review in STEM (IRIS). Born in South Korea, he is currently using online schools for education. Joo’s primary interests are coding, watching Netflix and playing with his sister. Most of the time, he either studies or solves coding problems on websites such as Leetcode or Codingninjas.
